Civil registration systems

As part of its work on vital statistics, the United Nations Statistics Division recently issued the Principles and Recommendations for a Vital Statistics System, Revision 2.

In addition, the United Nations Statistics Division has issued six handbooks, which deal with different aspects of civil registration and vital statistics improvement and have been published in the official languages of the United Nations:
