Marketing consulting assignments may deal with one or a combination of the following: - analysis and formulation of a marketing strategy - formulation of customer service and pricing policies - sales management and sales staff training - organisation of distribution channels (sale to wholesalers or directly to retailers, direct mail, franchise, etc.) - organisation of the distribution process, package design and other matters related to the marketing strategy and operations of an organisation This subclass does not include: - public relations services, cf. 83121 - advertising services, cf. 836 TSG 02/2002 Merge the 4th and 5th sub-items of the 1st inclusion of CPC V.1.1 code 83114 to the following: *organization of marketing channels (sale to wholesalers or directly to retailers, direct mail, franchise, etc.), package design and other matters related to the marketing stratefy and operations of an organization. 2. Delete the 2nd sub-item of the 1st inclusion of CPC V.1.1 83115, inventory management and control. Refer the item, inventory management and control, in the index to CPC V.1.1 code 83119.
