Complete ISIC 4 structure draft for consultation

In follow-up to the questionnaires for the next revision of ISIC, sent out in 2001 and 2003, a third questionnaire soliciting input on a proposed complete structure for ISIC has been developed by the Technical Subgroup and sent to 247 countries and international organizations.
The questionnaire has been sent out on 12 May 2004.
It is recommended that the issues raised in these papers be discussed as widely as possible in each country, resulting in a single country position that reflects the needs of data providers and data users.
Responses are expected by 15 November 2004 to be reviewed and consolidated by the Technical Subgroup.
The materials will also be used as background documents for regional meetings and workshops.
