The Expert Group met on 16-18 June 2007 at UN Headquarters in New York, USA. The Expert Group discussed:
- Implementation process for the newly revised ISIC and CPC
- Revision of the International Standard Classification of Occupations (ISCO)
- Possible revisions for the Classification by Broad Economic Categories (BEC)
- Other classifications within the Family of International Economic and Social Classifications
- Future work and strategies for revision of other classifications
The meeting also included discussions on implementation tools such as correspondence tables and user guides.
