Nadia Hasham

Biography

Nadia is a Trade Policy Expert at the African Trade Policy Centre of the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa, focused on the inclusive implementation of the Africa Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) Agreement. She manages the trade and gender workstream, primarily around knowledge generation and stakeholder engagement, as well as projects relating to inclusive trade, sustainable trade facilitation, private sector engagement, and digital trade.

Nadia has more than twelve years of experience managing economic research as well as evidence-based policy design and decision-making in various contexts. Nadia holds a Master of International Affairs degree from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts from McGill University.
