Biography
Qualifications include Bachelor of Science degree with Botany and Zoology majors; University Higher Education Degree (Science Teaching); Bachelor of Education (Honours in Education) (achieved cum laude) and a Masters in Art (Gender Studies from University of Bangalore, India) (achieved First Class).
Work experience: Started off as a biology teacher and then a lecturer in Biological Sciences to teacher trainees. As awarded a full scholarship to study Masters in Gender in India for 2 years by the Indian Embassy in SA and upon return to the country was appointed in the Office on the Status of Women, Presidency.
Currently serving as the Chief Director: Research, Policy and Knowledge Management in the Department of Women, Youth and Persons with Disabilities in the Presidency, Republic of SA.
