Glossary of the 1993 SNA - Definition of Term

TermHousehold unincorporated market enterprises
DefinitionHousehold unincorporated market enterprises are created for the purpose of producing goods or services for sale or barter on the market; they can be engaged in virtually any kind of productive activity and they include unincorporated partnerships but the liability of the partners for the debts of the businesses must be unlimited for the partnerships to be treated as unincorporated enterprises.
