Meeting organized by UNSD, UNFPA and the US Census Bureau
UNSD, UNFPA and the US Census Bureau are organizing a side-event during the 48th UN Statistical Commission on the 2020 round of population and housing censuses with emphasis on census methodological frameworks, contemporary technologies, coordination and support. The side event will also feature a presentation by UNFPA on the International Committee on Census Coordination (ICCC), a group established by UNFPA, UNSD and the U.S. Census Bureau to strengthen communication and coordination among international and regional organizations providing support for the successful implementation of population and housing censuses in developing countries.
