Main Applications:
Trade in services statistics
Main Users:
Policy makers, trade negotiators, analysts, businesses, academia
Methodology
Scope:
The classifications covers cross-border services provided to other countries and services rendered from other countries.
Concept Being Classified:
services
Statistical Units:
transaction
Main Principles:
Disaggregation of BPM6 Trade in Goods against CPC.
EBOPS 2010 is a primarily product-based classification of types of services, which in many cases may be described in terms of international classification of products as contained in CPC Ver. 2. However, the classification also includes transaction-based criteria (for example, Travel, Government services, Manufacturing Services on inputs owned by others).

Major Differences (Scope, Structure, and Concepts):
EBOPS 2010 - CPC Ver.2., Service Sectoral Classification List (MTN.GNS/W/120)
CPC is used to design W/120 and BPM6 and as such guide for EBOPS 2010
W/120 is a negotiation classification and not a statistical classification, however, its coverage was guiding the EBOPS2010 disaggregation
