NPI satellite accounts
Main Users:

The unit to which it is applied-the establishment-is intended to be the smallest unit from which it is possible to collect information on outputs, inputs and the processes by which inputs are transformed into outputs

Major Differences (Scope, Structure, and Concepts):
The classification hierarchies of the conceptual elements particular to the NPI use also other classification systems, including those describing the industrial classification used for production and classifications of goods and services, some of which describe the nature of the items and others that describe the purpose they are intended to serve.

Classification Structure

Definition of Structure:
Level:
Level Name:
Code Format:
Number of Items:
N/A
Remarks:
Accounts can be compiled at greater or lesser degrees of detail by using higher or lower levels of these hierarchies. In some cases, a full specification requires information about two or even three hierarchies. For example, entries in the accounts typically refer to a sector and a transaction or other flow and may specify what type of product or asset is the subject of the entry
Criteria for Definition of Levels:
Lower level provide more detail about the higher levels
